Hello my beautiful babes! Welcome back long time no see! Today I am giving you guys this amazing recipe.
Tried and tested today and its too good not to share! These bad boys contain 85g of carbs, 17g of fat and 25g of protein all without the need of protein powder. They are pretty calorie dense at 582 cals for the pancakes but defo the most perfect breakfast treat!
These really remind me of my chocolate chip oat cups but higher protein and in a pancake form 😛 Anyway, lets get on with the recipe!
You will need
1/2 cup of oats
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
Dash of cinnamon
2 squares of MyProtein high protein chocolate -chopped
coconut oil (too cook with)
What you need to do
put all ingredients into a blender and pulse until a batter has formed (if too thick then add some water and pulse again)
stir in the chopped up chocolate bits
heat a pan on a low heat with some coconut oil and wait for the pan to be hot. Add the mixture (2-3 teaspoons at a time) and cover the pan for a few minutes until cooked, flip and cover again.
Plate up, add whatever toppings you want and enjoy!
